Keuka College’s Nursing Degree Guarantees a Healthy Career

Nursing is more than a career – it’s a calling. At Keuka College, you’ll benefit from the exceptional academic preparation that enables nurses to practice their profession with skill, precision, and passion.

The Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing program offered by Keuka College provides you with the best of both worlds: deep academic instruction and practical, clinical experience. Keuka College has nearly 80+ years of nursing instruction to its credit and has earned its reputation as a leader in nursing education.

As a student, you’ll benefit from the state-of-the-art facilities at Keuka College, as well as at partner health care facilities where you’ll augment your instruction. You’ll learn the essentials of patient care and nursing practice, gain incredible real-world opportunities through our Field Period® program, and graduate on the cutting edge of health care technology.

Program Highlights

Internships and Practicums

Hands-on learning is an important part of the Nursing experience. Thanks to Keuka College’s Field Period® internships, you’ll benefit from real-world experience with two acute care clinical settings and two site placements facilitated by nursing faculty — starting your junior year. And that’s in addition to your required practicums. As a result, you’ll graduate from Keuka College knowing exactly how you’d like to focus your profession.

Brand New Instructional Facilities

As a Nursing student, much of your instruction will take place in the College’s recently completed Center for Health Innovation. Designed as a simulated health system, the center includes six distinct labs with additional space for instruction.

Practicing Faculty

Keuka College’s Nursing professors are accomplished academics and seasoned professionals in the field. They seamlessly combine theoretical concepts and clinical expertise because they’ve spent as much time in health care settings as in the classroom. Their combined experience and expertise mean you’ll get the best Nursing education possible.

Learn What You Like and Where You Want to Go

Field Period® was the best experience in my life, and I believe I grew as an individual and as a future nurse.

I believe nothing compares to actually being able to learn through doing. I could have never learned what I did from a textbook.

I learned that stepping out of my comfort zone is essential for growth, and that’s something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
