The Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education has reaccredited Keuka College’s business-related degree programs through 2030.
The Council announced the decision at its July meeting.
“Accreditation from the council – the IACBE, as it’s known – is one of the highest endorsements a business education program can receive,” said Professor Emerita Ann Tuttle, interim chair of the College’s Division of Business and Management. “It reflects the superior standards and academic rigor our business-related programs consistently maintain.”
In announcing its decision, the council said the College’s Division of Business and Management demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education, and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations
It added that the Business and Management programs met or exceeded the council’s Accreditation Principles in the following areas:
-Commitment to Integrity, Responsibly, and Ethical Behavior
-Quality Assessment and Advancement
-Strategic Planning
-Business Curricula and Learning Opportunities
-Business Faculty Characteristics, Activities, and Processes
-Student Policies, Procedures, and Processes
-Resources Supporting Business Programs
-External Relationships
-Innovation in Business Education
“We applaud the effort and commitment demonstrated by your team in working toward and achieving specialized accreditation for your business programs,” the council’s Accreditation Team members wrote to Division Chair Tuttle. “Congratulations on this accomplishment!”
Keuka College will be publicly recognized at the 2024 IACBE Annual Conference and Assembly Meeting taking place next April in Memphis, Tennessee.
The Kansas-based International Accreditation Council for Business Education was founded in 1997 and is nationally recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. It has hundreds of member institutions with campuses worldwide.
