The first installment of this semester’s Dr. BettyLou Koffel ’74 Diversity Film Series, “Intentionally Erased,” will be screened on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
The one-hour documentary from the educational organization A Call to Men, written and directed by Kimya Motley, seeks to “uplift the experiences, challenges, and humanity of Black trans women in the United States.”
The films series, launched in 2022 by Keuka College alumna Dr. BettyLou Koffel and her husband, Philip Moyer, provides programming aimed at promoting engagement around issues of diversity and equity on campus.
“Intentionally Erased” will be shown at 7:30 p.m. in the Hawkins Lounge (inside the Dahlstrom Student Center).
Following the screening, director Motley and Tony Porter, CEO of A Call to Men, will take part in a virtual Q&A session.
