How are semesters split up for online programs?

Each traditional semester is divided into two 7-week terms: Summer 1, Summer 2, Fall 1, Fall 2, Spring 1, and Spring 2. January is the only semester that is 4 weeks long, instead of 7 weeks.

Please note: The MS in Literacy program follows a slightly different schedule. Students begin with a 7-week Summer semester, and then complete all remaining coursework in traditional 14-week semesters.
